WM6.1 upgrade for hx4700

I have had my hx4700 for several years now and have decided to upgrade to WM6.1 from WM2003SE which I am still using. I have a new laptop running Vista Ultimate and would like to be able to sync with this laptop if possible. If not possible, I can sync with another laptop running XP which is what I have been doing till now. I am looking for a link or directions to do this upgrade. I am looking for directions to do this in a step-by-step fashion because to be honest, I don't have a clue as to what is involved in this. I know a lot of you are experts at this and would appreciate your help. I am currently working in Iraq and use my pda mostly for listening to music and Bible reading. I have searched through the info on this site and haven't found anything that I understand well enough to attempt to do this upgrade. Thanks,
