I recently upgraded my ATT 8525 from its original WM5 to WM6 and got a nice surprise. I seems that in WM5 the maximum size micro SD card that could be used was 2 GIG; but with WM6 my new 8 GIG card is working fine. I don't know what the limit is, but I suspect it's the 32 GIG touted by WM6 on the ATT Tilt.

Yep, before we couldn't use SDHC cards, but WM6 allows us that ability. I am not sure what the upper limit may be, but it is amazing how much memory can be tucked into such a small card. I love technology!

I feel your enthusiasm! I just upgraded from the Cingular 8125 (HTC Wizard) to the AT&T Tile (HTC TyTn II) and have an 8 gig card for my unit. Suddenly my media players seem a little redundant.

I have been using a program to convert my DVDs for a couple of years now and I have been impressed with the number of movies I can get on a 4gb card.
Has anyone tried a card larger than 8gb on their WM6 device? If it is possible to use the new 32gb cards then I will have little use for any PMP at all.

I would love to try out a micro SDHC card larger than 8 gigs but I could not find any. I tried my usually online retailers and some brick and mortar stores with no success. Have you seen any sold anywhere?

I must admit I am behind in the times. I am on WM 5 on my Cingular 8525. Where do I find a link to upgrade to WM6? I got on the MS website and all I could find was WM6.1 supported by Vista only. I would appreciate any help to this old doc.
